The postcard, sent from South Queensferry on August 20th 1908, reads,
"Dear Mary, just a PC to say I
am sorry for not writing sooner.
Hope this PC will find you well. Excuse the writing as I am doing it
in bed for I have got the tooth but is some better today.
from your friend Robina."
I'm assuming she meant tooth-ache. Ed.
