A young lad fishing on this untitled postcard from 1907.

This looks to be a 'colourised' image of a monochrome original and it's possible the young chap
never existed but was added by hand to give the postcard more appeal.

The waterfall was adjacent to Station Rd. but was washed away in the floods of 1948.
Note the 'fish ladder' on the far side
