These photographs were taken on Sunday 16th September 2007.
The heavy rain and dull skies seemed an appropriate accompaniment to the demolition
of the Bowling Club building which has served its members well since 1970.

The Club, empty and ready for demolition. Perhaps it's looking its age.

The beech-wood floor was carefully removed and will be gracing a new house in Lewis.

New houses are being built at the South end of the bowling green.
