New for 2008
Many
changes are taking place this year at the club:
As
many will see the new clubhouse is almost complete which we
hope to be fully operational in June.
Many
sports group in the village have now come together and will
use the new clubhouse as their ‘home’.
This includes Bowling, Cricket, Junior Rugby and Junior
Cricket.
Going forward the club will be known as GIFFORD BOWLING
AND SPORTS CLUB.
Representatives of all sports groups are on the committee of
the club.
The
committee, and indeed current members, strongly believe that
the clubhouse can once again be
a focal point of the village and hope that many new members
can be encouraged to join, whether as
sports members or as Social members who want to come along
and have a drink and socialise.
