Snow clings to the branches of the trees next
to the
Papana Water during the winter of 1984.
The pink tinge to the photograph was due to the sun sitting
very low in the sky.
A handy tip: If you throw a
snowball onto a sloping roof to watch it
grow in size as it rolls down again, bear in mind that the snow can
"fracture" and bring down the whole lot directly on top of you.
