The light greyish building behind the cross is, I think, the "new" Post Office which opened in this year.

An electric tramcar can be seen as can the power poles in the background.
Today the road is narrower and the area on the left is now a small car park, bus stop & taxi rank.
The Post Office is nowadays to be found in the Co-op.
