Tranent Town Hall in 1916.

Where was this.......is it still there?

Jim Hamilton in Prestonpans writes....

"Tranent Town Hall still stands near the top of Church Street just before
turning right along Sandersons Wynd. The front elevation has somewhat
changed from the photograph and the railing were not there when I was a
child (probably removed during WW2) staying at No 45 Church Street, just
2 doors to the right of the picture in 1963."
