Yester Parish Church, Gifford

Yester Kirk is the parish Church of Scotland for Yester which has boundaries with those
of Humbie, Garvald, Haddington and Bolton & Saltoun.

Yester Parish is linked to those of Humbie, Bolton & Saltoun and one minister serves all three churches.
There are three Kirk Sessions in this linked charge and each is represented on Lothian Presbytery and sends
Commissioners to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.

The church is open to visitors daily from Easter to October, and many take the opportunity to enjoy a few moments
of peace and tranquillity, and to appreciate the atmosphere of reverence with which the building is imbued.
